Kobelco had a real nice display this year. The 120ft high reach was cool. A long way up to be cutting with those. Got to take a little skill I bet.

This weather SUCKS
PeterMack replied to hicrop10's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
Snowed again here today. Just enough to f#ck traffic up and get the truck dirty. I've had enough. -

Do it. This is the second time I've attended. Cost me about $1,500 for 3 and a half days in Vegas, flight, hotel, everything. Was worth it.

Cool. Brought it home in style no less. Good luck with the new project. -

One of the neatest things at this show is the miniature asphalt and concrete plants. I was talking to a guy at the Astec booth and he said they had six guys working on their display for a year and a half. I told him I wanted one for my toy room and he said I should buy a real one because it would be cheaper.

Had some pretty cool toys on display at Con Expo and one 15ft tall robot. The drill rig truck was made from Lego's, and the road grader was a Classic Construction Model made from brass that had a $1,300 price tag on it. I liked the Mammoet push pull setup, but it was just part of a companys display. NFS.

I rolled up on this mess this morning at rt 47 and rt 30. Looks like this guy loaded the hay just a fuzz to high. D.O.T was there to help him out though:( At least it was just hay, easy enough to clean up.

I would suggest that if anybody is into construction trucks and equipment that you should make it to this show at least once. Quite a site to see, plus its in Vegas. Can go do some serious damage drinking and gambling after the show, or at the very least go overeat at a buffet.

Here are a few more from the outside Mack booth and other Macks that were at the show. Mack had quite a few trucks here this year.

Here is a Volvo loading a Mack at the outside Mack booth and a Mack backed up to a grinder at the Volvo booth. Coincidence?

My Dad got caught in that same storm in OH. He got re routed from the interstate, had a hell of a time making his delivery but he made it. Ended up taking 30 back west because the turnpike was still messed up the next morning.

Nah, cool as a cucumber. My shirt has an outline of a tree on the front of it, looks a little like a stain from far back though, the back of the shirt is a needle nose Pete haulin logs.

Here are a couple more shots of the sales girls. Sorry it took so long for the reply. Had a fight with the internet company, told them to pound sand, but now I'm back, and yes I did buy a new crane, don't know what I'm gonna use it for though, maxed out the credit card with that one.

While I have a minute I thought I could post one more picture. Was trying to get a shot of the Mack pumper trucks but the sales girls kept getting in the way:)
