Well, we're off to Colfax. Pictures later.

The guy at Deloach Diesel invited us to stop by the next time we passed through and he would show us more old trucks and wreckers that were inside the fence behind the N model Ford wrecker. He said he couldn't the day we stopped, so I hope we can stop there again.

Here's a picture of 2 dogs' butts. ...which leads us up to "here's a girl in a car taking a picture of those puppys".

The woman Zina lived with got Cubby Claws all the time. Zina rented a room from her when her ex told her he was going to kill her if she came back. We're planning to come back in November and have a little get together with some of her friends who couldn't make it to the wedding, and Friendly Confines was a place she has mentioned to do it. I always liked it, it was one of my favorite places. Or maybe Gator's...or maybe the Ale House. Maybe you could join us. We want to go to the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona while we're there too.

We happened upon a big Mack truck on the way back from Florida. I actually saw it on the way down. Today my wife was driving and said "there's an old Mack, you want me to turn around so you can get a picture?" I said "nah, that's all right". So she said "I'm turning around". I'm glad she did, we saw several more old trucks, and met some super nice people. I'll post the pictures when I get home, they're taking a long time with the phone, they're too big.

Yeah, I was thinking 35 or 36 anyway. 🤣
-
That's pretty much what we do here, always have 🤣. We like nonsense.
-
Yes, you had plenty of time. I think Mark got there around 10- 10 AM- and we were having a beer probably around 10:05 🤣.

I do own a suit, but the last time I wanted to wear it I couldn't find it anyway. It did turn up somewhere later, but I don't know where I put it. I told Zina that I looked like a fat slob in most of the pictures, so there's a good chance the suit wouldn't fit anymore anyway.

Same here.

I was with James Bond, he said he hoped nobody recognized him. I might be in trouble for posting his picture now, he said "just make up a name, tell 'em I'm Mark Wright or something".

I'll have you know that that's not a rental, I actually own that fine clothing! And thank you.

That is correct. And I still had 6 IC Lights left that Tim gave me at Macungie last year so I brought those for him, and he brought a 30 pack of it himself! I had 36 each Bud Light and Miler Lite, and 24 Natural Lights and 24 Mike's. I was trying to look out for everybody.

Yes, they sell it up here at the store near my house. I think it's the cheapest beer in there. I got a 6 pack of of it for Gregg, Underdog on BMT, and I even had that imported IC Light for Tim Jumper. And we had Bud Light, Miller Lite, Natural Light, Cayman Jack margarita drinks, and a Mike's variety pack. So there was no reason to be thirsty.

Wow, thank you very much for the kind words. Lots of people were disappointed that you weren't there, they really wanted to meet you. It was very nice, everybody there seemed to have a good time, and they loved the venue. The tractors with mighty Detroit Diesel engines in them were a huge hit with everyone too. We had a lot of food left over too- a lot! Along with a pickup load of beer.

Yep, me and Zina from Gladys, formerly known as Zina from Florida, got married at the Keystone Antique Truck and Tractor Museum yesterday. It was a great place to do it, everybody seemed to enjoy it. We had the ceremony in front of Dr. Bill's PIE tanker, because Zina saw a picture of me sitting in it in Winchester and that's how we reconnected after nearly 40 years. This is us with Mark Wright, known as vision386 on BMT.

I have lots of Wheels of Time magazines, and Double Clutch, and Old Time Trucks, and more that are no longer published. I can't throw them away, but i'm not a hoarder...I don't think. I have an old convenience store magazine rack stuffed full, 4 shoe boxes full, and more just stuffed anywhere I can find.

First time I remember. The "biden joke of the day" ( I think that's what it was called) thread went on a long time, but I don't remember it hitting triple digits.

We managed to see the ''Truckers Against Cancer Parade" on the way home from Colonial Heights Saturday. I've wanted to for years, and Zina wanted to since she found out about it, but there was always something that would come up and we never did. It's grown to be a pretty big thing now, so when we saw people by the highway, in parking lots, even in hay fields by the road, sitting in pickups, lawn chairs, hay bales, etc, we found an old logging road and just pulled into it and waited. I thought it would have been over with by the time we got there, but we asked google and it hadn't even started yet. So we waited... Then we saw chopper guy coming... then the po-po... ...then it was on. It was great, and for a great cause. All those trucks passing by, blowing the horns, there was lights, sirens, flags- very moving actually. So here's the big Mack trucks, with a few others sprinkled in. I won't post them all, but I think I took a couple of hundred pictures. Here's a couple opf F.L.Moore and Sons trucks, where I used to work. They had several more in the parade too.

That was a big selling point when we were pondering buying this truck a few years ago. He had all the wheel cylinders, don't remember about the master cylinder, done at White Post Restorations and were guaranteed for life. We were going to buy this truck, even sent him a $500 deposit to hold it until he got the paperwork from Maine, but he never got anything, no bill of sale, nothing, so after a few months he sent the money back.

Well thank you for that info, a few years ago me and Zina were coming home from sunny Florida and there was an ice storm here and we had no power when we got back. We spent the night in Asheboro,N.C. because our next door neighbor called us and told us the power was out. Came home the next day, still no power. No power that night. So we said we were going to get a generator, my first thought was a Honda, but they were about a million dollars. So I saw all these ads everywhere I googled generators for the Generacs, and they were like $300. So I said "that's what we'll get, a generac". But of course the power came back on right then, and I never did get a generator. I bought a snow shovel once and it didn't snow for 6 years.
