Rev the engine right up a couple of times the vanes sometimes stick!
-
When you take the clutch back out then check to see the bolt heads weren't hitting the springs I have had to remove the washers to make things work on occasion As the truck shop mentioned Be sure your gap is correct! how ever if its a mack trans its very hard to see around the clutch fork!
We are assuming you are working with a NON solo Clutch!????
Good luck with it!
Post what you find!

There is a possiblity that the separater pins on the internidate plate are not even ! take a 1/4 inch punch and on each preasure plate mounting lug there is a hole put the punch in the hole and tap on it turn the engine and tap on each one till you have done all 4 and see if this repairs the issue!
Also if you had the flywheel surfaced the springs on the dapper hub can hit the bolt heads of the crank if to much was removed as well as if you were handed the wrong clutch the damper some damper hubs DON'T fit the flywheel cut out!
Just some stuff Ive been bitten by!

Depending on where your live that box on the under side can be totally green with corrosion ya may want to change it out I don't think it's that pricey

Physically I believe both diffs fit the housings how ever the axles are hugely diffrent spline wise and your torque bracket mountings may differ
-
Hopefully not a self adjusting?

If it has chassis mounted charge air cooling yup pump and turbo
-
Try the above however have the dealer repin the fuel pump plug if the reprogram dosent work!
-
Its Experience ! The u pipe on the egr cooler is the likley ( culprit Believe it )! Every one has been burned with it at one point or other!
And yes they sell turbo cap off kit it anit the greatest thing but it does work. we have a home made one that works for all the engines it was built for the asset but it works on all of the engines.

I don't think 350 was oftered as a maxidyne i beleive 300 took the place of the 285 maxidyne. (I could be wrong!) KS would know if he sees this maybe he'll chime in!

Good info bro thanx for posting
way more then you would get from Teck support!
-
Thats A deceant plan!
Just didnt want you to rule it out is all we have chased this many times and alot of times it ends up being the turbo.
-
I beleive you would be throwing up code if that were the case
iif the turbo won't make air the ecm will hold out triggering fuel to number 7 !it will try to regen then stop
-
It Is possible you could have a turbo issue If the turbo won't function correctly (sticking) the ecm ain't going to let the seventh injector have fuel!
And it wont throw a code if the turbo is stuck! They just stick and teck tool is absolutely useless to isolate this problem! you Need to do manual checks. if indeed that is what is happening!

I have done this many times with red and never had an issue ,as long as both peices are clean and dri (hit them with some brake clean) and wipe dri They have stayed in place for me everytime!
-
The gear is helical cut it could float back and forth sum I have never had it happen And it is a long shot in the dark!
your comment about the compressor changing it makes me curious! that is why I sugested it!

Make sure you compare the plunger roller there are to diffrent widths narrow and wide wide will work on both narrow only on narrow

The idle adjustment screw is in front of the trottle lever

If you tried to pull a load like that here in bc on some of the hills we have here there would be differential parts and Trans parts littering the hyw!

If your pulling 38 be happy thats good boost for that engine as pro mentioned if the ecu were able to see what the engine was truely making it would have derated at 33! A good running AC engine with VGT is making that kind of boost your right in the Zone!
