  1. This truck has been on eBay for awhile.....ad says it comes with a bunch of spare engine parts.... Might be worth a call. http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/131561480468
  2. Sounds like a good option if you can't find one....
  3. I will make a few calls this weekend. Scouring the Internet Sounds like a good plan......you may also want to try a search engine that can check all of craigslist at once. I called dozens of people before I found mine. I'm sure you'll find one, it just may take some time.
  4. I would look for a replacement manifold....I had several people try welding mine, and each time it got progressively worse.
  5. This ones for sale in Maine.....http://maine.craigslist.org/hvo/5674013087.html
  6. That's weird..... That's the phone number to a plumbing place in Rhode Island.......
  7. Sounds like your gaining on it....Nice job!
  8. Good luck Paul, wish you all the best down there!!!
  9. Went to the 2016 show last Saturday......they had some great looking trucks attend.....
  10. Nice pics!!!! Your truck is looking good!!! Thanks for posting
  11. Your absolutely right..... It could be anywhere....persistency is the only way to find out what happened to it. I checked the Spaamfaa vehicle list but it wasn't listed.
  12. That would be cool !!!! I use to drive by this one just about everyday...... It was at Lincoln park in Dartmouth Ma.
  13. Thanks for the replies.....a couple of us could ring the bell. The kids could make it up about half way. It's more about hitting the pad just right and less about brute strength. When I bought the game it was in pieces.....and there were boxes of parts.... One box contained 3 or 4 of the "Chasers".....the metal piece that slides up the rail....there were different weight ones to make the game easier or harder....you can see in the picture below that one was drilled out to reduce weight .....The story I got was that they would start with a light one to draw people in and then switch to the heavier ones.....clever or crooked depending on which side of the hammer your on!
  14. Paul, after your advice I was able to locate a similar rubber on eBay. The wood on the base was completely rotten so I had to rebuild it. Finally got it back together for this weekend.....Plenty of smiles by everyone trying to "Ring the Bell"
  15. Thank You Paul for your service and sacrifices. It's greatly appreciated every day of the day.
  16. Same to you Bob...... Enjoy the day
  17. I have had a similar issue with excise tax.....they can't couldn't come up with a book value on my 77 International or the 53 Mack so they just made them up. They valued the IH around 10 times what I paid for it......the last time I spoke with the state a few years back I offered the truck to Them at half price.....they refused.... So the upside is your appraisal should alleviate any State B.S. On the exise value. Also using the words "Fire Truck" seems to make the registry folks go loopy. Good luck
  18. There's a guy on eBay in North Carolina selling a windshield off of a B model fire truck.....pictures show the whole truck.... Might be worth a shot....
