  1. Curious what equipment would have been on a 50's Engine? If anyone has any pictures or descriptions that would be great. I imagine fire departments still use a lot of the same tools......firefighters aren't big fans of change. It must have also varied in different parts of the country? It would be cool to see some of the tools from the past...........Thanks

  4. Awesome pictures!!! Your family must have been very proud of that tractor to take those picturers.....i know i would have been. A friend of mine has a "B" model....Uses it all summer to make hay. It doesnt have electric start so its always parked on a hill somewhere. There's nothing like the sound of an old Deere....we have a 1957....

  10. Looking for a Mack fire truck gauge that goes up to 250.....like the one pictured. The Gauge that goes up to 600 has the type of needle that the other gauge use to have.....If someone has either one let me know.......Thanks

  13. Already got 5 inches in southeastern MA. Heavy wet snow.....Zero visibility.....Crazy wind.....only a matter of time before power goes out. Should be fun going to work in the morning...Best of luck to all in it's path...Stay safe!

Thanks to all.......yarnall, not having much luck crossing the part numbers......the numbers are from an older Carter pump....the company changed hands, so I'm guessing the numbers must be a little different......went to a couple of shops and no luck. I have found people using that pump in a marine setting online.....so the numbers were good. If anyone knows what the P.S.I should be to the carb (zenith) and/or the top end fuel consumption for the 707 that would great. Al, my tank is in the back under the hose bed....already had two electric fuel pumps installed back in the early sixties.....just no way of telling what the pump was putting out.Thanks again to all
  16. Still looking for some advice on which electric fuel pump would do a good job feeding a 707 gas engine. Went to a few shops today on the way home from work......awful lot of blank stares. Any help is appreciated......Thanks
  17. Sorry to hear about your garage....certainly a crappy feeling....but Iike others mentioned, your stuff should turn up somewhere. If it makes you feel any better, my wedding got robbed a few years back. A guy dressed in a suit walked in.....took the basket of envelopes.....and walked out!!!
