    I bought that one the 2nd year they were on the market in Canada (1st one in my area) Mercedes engines weren't offered until a year or 2 later.

    Bought a new 570 Belarus with cab in 1990 to run my Lely disc mower for roadside cutting for the Ontario MTO when the tranny went in my IH 624 for the 2nd time. Great basic tractor, good on fuel & half the price of the Teneco fake IH or Deere. Cook fries up a plantain for breakfast every morning along with whatever else is on the menu.
