  3. I bought new DM800 chassis with the Maxitorqe transmission in them in 1968 to 1969 and I believe they were around 29 grand.

  8. Hello Green Dash, Yes, a family business. What stands out to me as I remember, I was driving my last remaining B81, which was a decent running truck, but looked like hell. One Friday evening Manny came by, said he wanted to service the truck and would have it back Monday morning early. Well Monday morning came, the truck was already dropped off, fully seviced, had been cleaned, sandblasted and a full paint job, he would never take a dime for it. He knew I was having a hard time and in bad health and did what he could to help me...............Paul
  9. Hello, Manuel Renie is a friend of mine and we worked together back in the 60's. He is still driving hauling for Lawrence-Lynch and I believe 82 now. I do remember that they ended up with one of my B81's. His son Tyrone also is driving every day. They helped me a lot when I was going broke in 1970 and never expected anything in return for which I will always remember and appreciate.........Paul

  12. ok i get it, anything with with an offset cab and steel nose is a DM, anything with a centered cab and steel nose is a RD, anything with an offset cab and fiberglass nose is a U and anything with a centered cab and fiberglass nose is an R Model
