I am not sure how true it is but I heard on the radio that the land has been surveyed and that test wells were put in for oil and gas. Might be a reason to run him off so big oil can move in and do some fracking.

Yeah I was lowering the price because I wanted to get as much money put together as possible for a down payment on another house that has a few acres. Looks like I have enough so I am not going to part the superliner out now. Still interested in selling it. But if it doesn't move then I will just sit on it and do some more work to it.

Complaints from Craigslisters so far.... No Jakes. Too old to drive in California. That thing has dinky rearends... I thought it was going to have 44k. It is missing the front portion of the headliner. There is no C.B.

Any interest at $2,900? Thinking about running an add next week to start parting it out. Anyone interested in the cab/hood and fuel tanks?

Still looking to sell this 1980 Superliner. Had a couple craigslist lookers but no offers. I have sold off the 5th wheel and some of the tires. Has cummins 350 big cam BC3. 10 speed. The brake drums and shoes look very new. Even part of the stickers are on all the springs so I am guessing they have all been replaced some time. Just dropped the price to $3,250.

Fixed the wiper air valve and now the wipers are working good. New valve through the dealer was $154 but the three small O-rings that were tore up and missing cost about 50 cents each. -
The ones I am use to take the bolt with the two nubs sticking out the side and you just put it in there and give it a quarter turn then run the nut down with a wrench. Chock the tires and release the brakes and you won't have to give it but a couple turns to hold the spring back. I was going to post a picture of one but was not able to find one.

Yeah that is our water treatment facility. I sometimes haul gravel out of the pit just a short ways up hwy 4. I am starting a small collection of old trucks here that you could have checked out.

Longview is where I call home. Too bad you didn't have room on your trailer to haul this superliner I have for sale back east.

I am quite surprised to not have any offers on the Mack yet. Usually get at least some low ball offers from the craigslist adds. I figured someone would have made an offer of $3400 and been driving themselves home in a superliner. -

I am not sure on the rearends. The rear shackles are labeled Rayco. I forget the name of the type suspension that it is but consists of four leaf spring packs. The springs still have stickers on them so I believe they were replaced before it was parked. I have a few more pictures of the truck that I can post again. I have been busy so I have not worked on the truck much lately. Did manage to get the dash lights working. I still plan on changing the engine oil and filters. It could use some new steer tires.

If this truck does not find a new home in the next couple weeks is there anyone looking for parts. -
Time for this superliner to find a new home. I am located in Washington State. The truck sat a lot for the last 6 to 8 years is what the previous owner said. Has some damage to the hood and some minor rust on the cab. However the rear suspension looks new and the rear brake drums/ brake linings are newer. The engine was swapped out with a 350 Big cam but no idea the mileage. Has 10 speed fuller trans. Needs wiper valve replaced. Truck runs and drives nice. I have the truck listed on craigslist for $4200 but willing to give a member on BMT a better deal.

I use to own a 5 yard Ford dump truck with the 3208 with a turbo and a 10 speed. Never got any where fast but I could run that truck all day and use hardly any diesel. If I was looking for a truck to run under 32,000 gross weight and it happen to have a cat 3208 with a turbo and a 10 speed I would not think twice about it. But that one being an automatic would be a slug.

I would put some newer steer tires on and hit the highway. That and the wiper switch is leaking so I am working on that.

Thanks Bob. I am willing to pass on such a good deal to someone on the forum here. I am taking the title in today to transfer it so it will be for sale in 6 weeks.
