If Dan Thomas(???) of Medley ORE brings his Aussie Value Line to York PA next year take a good look at it... Mech your explanation goes along with Paul's statement about stability on Aussie road trains..

Where in Wyoming did you get that answer from??? In most all states the individual DMV offices do NOT know what they are talking about with Antique / Historical Plates!!!! AND you will get a different answer from every person you talk to!! Do not be bashful,, Contact a Diesel Cop, In whatever form Wyoming lists them.. They SHOULD have computer access to what the law actually reads!!! There is also the Antique Truck Club of America, Wyoming Rocky Mountain Chapter, contact James Dixon, PO BOX 636, Newcastle WY 82701, phone 207-746-2788, email: jdixon@dixonbrosinc.com, who can point you in the right direction for good info..

I have looked at the 5th wheel plate for years and I’m not sure of the purpose of the circle plate, I’ve never seen another one like it.)
Up here in the States the only one I have seen is on the Valueliner that the Mack man in Oregon imported from Australia.. His is larger and has a ball bearing race in it as well as a locking pin.. I forget the exact reason for it now other than it was used when pulling road trains on dirt/gravel roads.

I have found the best way to get individual pictures is to stake out a place on the parade route and get then as they come by.. In the display area they are usually too close together and a lot of spectators..

Bob, Also keep your eye out for Tom Millard "Olsdpwr" who is the man who started to Brockway sub section of "Other Truck Makes" Both his tractors are red and white immaculate show pieces..

So I'm to understand the Brockway show is defiantly worth the trip from NV? it's week-end of 8/12-13/23. I have a commitment ; will see about changing things (to my benefit ).
It is always the 2nd weekend of August, So put in on next years calendar NOW!!!! They usually have 120 to 140 Brockways, 2012 was the record year with 163.. You can spend most of the day touring the 4 museums as well as the Italian supper on Friday, followed by fireworks at dusk.. AND The Finger Lakes region of central NY is a very beautiful tourist area with several State Parks. My wife can stand the museums on Friday and then drops me off at the show and goes touring for thrift shops and yard sales on Saturday..

In 2019 we made a similar loop when we went to the ATHS show in Reno.. A word word of warning.. If you plan on doing the Hoover Dam and generating system think "Airport Security" to get inside the visitor center and generators... Had my pocket knife and was not allowed in!!
