i wonder if that was a Guaranteed rig?

they still have a giant Oshkosh in their fleet. if i remember correctly it is named "the beast"

TJC, I think I know the truck you are speaking of.. It is called "UGLY" and has a Jersey personalized plate that says UGLY.  Painted all white.. just went thru my Macungie pictures and it apparently was not ugly enough for me to take a picture!!!

  2. In reference to the above posts, You must remember that the two primary qualifications to become a politician at any level from local to national is to be::::1 A LIAR and 2 A THIEF!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I like the idea of a calendar!!! An all MACK calendar!!!  Maybe Barry can contact Richard Hain of the Green Magazine.. Apparently about every 50 years or so the dates on the old calendar match the upcoming year.  They produce a calendar each year with pictures of John Deere tractors from the old year that the dates match the new year.. email: info@greenmagazine.com

  4. Mark is correct.. Since the model number ends in 1 T and not 2 T's I am assuming it was originally a single axle, now with an air ride tag axle (lazy axle in Aussie). The mid 60's Coupe cab White 4000's with a tag axle I drove in the early 70's, the steering axles were so worn out that when running empty you had to add a little air to the Tag axle to keep the front from wobbling a lot!!!! Also Bobtailing a little air in the tag helps with braking..

  5. It is different from most of the oilfield trucks I have seen.. Unusual to see the 5th wheel right side up. The majority of the oilfield winch trucks I have seen had just the pin and the 5th wheel was mounted upside down on the float.. No gin poles???? What is the crosswise pipe ahead of the 5th wheel for??? Would not mind having it in my barn, BUT my checkbook is not that BIG!!!

Thank you. I think we're leaving Sunday. But at my age we take 17, 301, 601, 1, 220, etc. so it might take 2 days to get back. 95 scares me.

I am the same way!! From here to the Bushnell FL show I run 221, 1, and 301... From here to Alaska we only ran the interstates when the old US Highways got on and off for a ways..
