  1. Buying big parts, engines , cabs, and the like up here either in the States or Canada sounds like it might be a nightmare in exporting???? Especially if you buy in Canada then come thru the States to get to your exporting container.. And what does Australia let you import????  I have driven across both Canada and Alaska a couple of times and still recommend renting a small/midsized motor home (caravan)..

  2. DCW: I can drive anything as long as I  and/or the Truck DO NOT get paid..

DAs Geoff says above check you home state laws.. If you can find the PR / desk bound officer for your "Diesel Cops" they will take the time to look up the law a LOT BETTER than the local DMV.. We even has one come to our chapter meeting, lay out the basics and answered a lot of questions.

Here in N.C.  you get a letter thats lets you know that your D.O.T. phys.  is due..  then after it expires, you have 90 day's to get it done before they pull your C.D.L....  Because I don't drive for a living anymore, I was able to sign a doctors note/form/ whatever it is,,, and still have my Class 'A',  without a D.O.T. card in my wallet..  Of course if I get back in the Saddle, I will have to get my D.O.T. card..   Jojo

JoJo I have the same here in SC..  You just can NOT operate a vehicle if either you or the vehicle generates ANY revenue..

  4. Our prayers are with you and your family.. Besides the change of diet, quit smoking if you did, and gentle regular exercise, did the Doc's say anything about a rotor rooter job or other major surgery????

Thank you for researching this truck.. This is an interesting configuration!!! Especially for North Carolina.. Both Quebec Canada and Australia use or have used the twin steering set up extensively. Now all I have to do is figure out how to post your info on the Australian truck forum the picture came from!!!

It must have been right around 1968, you can find several photos of that nose style on the web. When you look for 1967 Brockways, you don't see many (possibly these were built in '67 but maybe titled as '68 models).

I think you a close!!! That is about when I would guess..

  7. I had a delivery to our plant in Luray VA one day and there must have been 50 Model T's going to a meet at the Luray Caverns facility. They were strung out all the way from US 11 south of New Market to Luray.
