    you would have to take the tandems out and install a single axle set up you cent just take a axle out, and if you would do that you would probaly want to trim a bit off the frame while you were there

    i could be wrong but in your add you said that it has 12K axles but its only a 18K GVW trailer i think the gvw should be 24K but i could be wrong.

    ya im the same way had the current girl for 4 years and she loves all my trucks the bigger and louder the better haha so what are you going to school for im in my senior year in mechanical engineering. Jamie

    o well thats even better than the 7 speed, so how big of a step are you looking to get?? and 35k will push you down a hill very fast haha

    what do you have for a transmission in that truck a straight 7? and that is a great looking rig all that you have there

    you may have to run a different injector too especially if you are going to put a turbo on the truck i would think

    I would say it might bolt up but the 237 probaly has a bigger pump being a turbo motor needing more fuel. That is just what my thought is though i could be wrong.

    ya this truck had to be re powered at some point and it has alot of add on also like those battery boxes right under the door doesnt look right to me. Would make a cool project though already having the diesel in it.

    ya but even with the body taken off the gvw of the truck will be the same which i bet for that truck is about 60-70K

    well you can put the antique plates on it if all you are going to do is drive to shows around town etc. but if you want to use it commercially pulling a trailer or what not you will have to do commercial plates to keep the law off you though go with antique plates and dont haul commercially with it. And I am only 21 and I have one truck registered and insured in my name with antique plates
