Volvo did add a bolt hole the the axle housing , but i dont remember what year that happened. 0 Joey Mack Posted 2 hours ago Share Posted 2 hours ago Yep. It has an extra bolt hole, but I believe you can mount the 92/93 set, and that extra hole will be covered. RTV is used to seal the carrier, so a leak is not a concern. I expect others who deal with these to chime in. I think the extra bolt was added later due to a common oil leak at the side cover area, where the 2 bolts would get loose. There are no lock washers.
