So, how many of us remember people from back when. Do you remember them by name or CB handle? l do better with a handle vs a name. When we were at the National Truck show in Lexington Kentucky 5-6 years ago. A guy came up and stood beside me looking at my sons truck. l asked him if he was ever in Nashua NH and drove for Coke Cola on Rt101A? He looked at me like WTF, when he answered yes l asked if his handle was "Loose Caboose"? He grinned and asked my name which he didn't remember. But when l said "Kamikaze Pick-up" he remembered me as if it was yesterday. But it had been well over thirty five years or more since l had spoken to him. Some people l never knew their real names!  lol    .....Hippy

I had a President base station at home.I cant remember the model but it had 240 channels.I used to do some skip talking and got and sent QSL cards all over Europe.I used a BIG STICK antanna. It caused a lot of TV interfearence.Back then all the TV channels in Ireland (there were only 6 channels)shut down around midnight so I could only use it into the small hours...Happy days indeed...
