other dog Posted 2 hours ago Share Posted 2 hours ago I took a load of treated lumber up to a Carter Lumber store in Uhrichsville, Oh. One time. While I was waiting to unload a guy came in in a fairly new Dodge pickup. He was loading some long boards in it and he ran one end through the sliding back glass and actually rested the ends of the boards on the dashboard of the truck. He had them right up against the windshield, sloping back to follow the slope in the windshield. The tail gate was shut and the other ends of the boards were sitting on top of it. Then he took one rubber bungee and put it across the top of them and hooked it in the bed. I looked and said "I hope you don't have to hit the brakes anywhere".
