56 years here..with the first 6 in gas powered trucks. cant tell you total miles, but i am at least at 2 million.

i tried figuring it out a few years bak but could not remember all the different trucks i drove, most got at least 100,000 miles before being replaced with newer ones.

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

One of the first things I was told was "you never log over 450 miles a day".

So I never did, even if I drove from Omaha to Tampa- 450 miles 😁

Congrats on your 20 & 2 Duck!  :thumb:   48 years legally plus some not documented can we say? From OTR to local, what the mileage is l would like to know but never will. And just about all of it chargeable accident free.    .....Hippy

I appreciate it ....Hippy I'm looking forward to maybe about 30 more then call it good 👍.

If I can remember correctly The most I've legally logged was 626miles.

That is why we ran 2 or 3 log books!!!!!

Had a Company that wanted me to Run 2 log books. Told the man "I've had a hard enough time learning one let alone two"...Then they seen that I could do just as good as the Boys runnin 2 books so they left me alone 😆 🤣 😂 😹

I've logged over 700 and never got in trouble for it, but when I started the speed limit was 55 everywhere, still 45 for trucks on some 2 lane roads. And you could only drive for 10 hours.

Now you can go west and drive 75 mph. For 11 hours. I remember one time I left Blytheville Arkansas in the morning and pulled into the yard in Concord, Virginia that evening and the e-log said I had a minute left to drive. As soon as the back of the trailer cleared 460 I stopped and hit "off duty".
