started out looking at 1/25 resin trucks; ended up on  site of trucks of old. found many east coast fleets not only forgot about. but recalled working on some. question now  is there was a freight outfit Vallerie having  Mack/ Reo's. they were a light brown/beige color. there was also a sister company having same color == what was the name ?

mech, Vallerie had a cross dock terminal in Concord NH. l was doing LTL at the time they were open. Most of their trucks were Whites but l can't find any pictures. l don't remember a sister company at that time. When they closed NEMF moved into the terminal on Hall St after a couple years. Salia (sp) went in after NEMF and they have moved on to a different address also.    .....Hippy

There was a company called Brown, and they had light brown or beige trucks. I remember them from the 80's, but I don't remember where they were out of.

Producer of poorly photo-chopped pictures since 1999.

the "sister" company was Darcey;  old age kicked in again around 2 am this morning wake up thinking : it is Darcy . there were whites in the fleet also. possibly the owner had two daughters/wife -daughter named Vallerie and Darcey.

Brown was out of the SE. l think they did a lot of carpet products. Found this, not sure it's the same one but the address seems correct.  https://www.brownintegratedlogistics.com/       .....Hippy

Pretty sure that's a different company than the model picture I posted. All their trucks were that same light brown color with the same emblems.

I'm going to look in the "Trucking Pioneers" books when Zina gets off work. They're on a shelf in her office, but I think the Brown I was thinking of is out of business.

You know, that's what I miss about the "Hank's Truck Pictures" website, you could find all the trucking answers there.

Finally found a "real" truck picture. Looks like an Overnite MB beside it too.

And I screenshot this. One guy thought they were out of Atlanta, one said Texas.
