Dacusville SC Show

Just a reminder that this coming Sat and Sun (Labor Day  Weekend) is the ATHS Palmetto Upstate Chapter show in conjunction with the Dacusville Heritage Assn farm days. I am going to be presenting Dean Jenkins (1961H67) with his ATHS 50 year achievement award. If all BMT guys that show up near the chapter tent about 11 AM(???) maybe we can build a group picture??

We're a bit closer than you are, but Zina picked this weekend to go to Connecticut. I didn't even realize it was Labor Day weekend at first, I said "who in their right mind would take a road trip to Connecticut on Labor Day weekend?"

So, I'm not sure about that "right mind" part, but apparently we're going to Connecticut 😡

You’re not alone, Tom same thing here I flew out of Allentown Father’s Day, and I didn’t even realize that it was Father’s Day. What a mess next time I will have to watch that.

you don't want to be in Connecticut ANY TIME . took an hr to go 25 minute ride today , the state was out pot hole patching I-84 at 2 pm. 5 trucks with 1= that's one clown with a shovel , this is every day. and they laugh at the horn blowing drivers.

You're right about that, I didn't like going there when I got paid for it! 🤣 

But Zina wants to go see her dad, so I can understand that. Her father is 91 now.

Actually she's already asked which truck would be easiest for her to learn to drive- the furniture truck, or the GMC that we don't need and should try to trade for a trailer to haul the big green International that runs now on with the furniture truck. I told her the GMC by far, it runs like a clock and drives like a car.

if you value the truck DON'T drive it here this weekend especially. major concern also is = vehicle smashes in to you it's either stolen/ unregistered/ no insurance. more news lately show vehicle crashes and driver runs away. had one recently where passenger died ; driver ran away - car was stolen.
