Playinghooky13 Posted September 21, 2023 Share Posted September 21, 2023 I need a transmission rebuild for a t2180b 13 speed problem is everyone around me is pretty booked one place said that they have a t318lr for exchange can anyone here tell me for sure it would work? My truck is a 13 speed but i think if it had tbe different shifter it could be the 18 speed please correct me if wrong. Losing jobs like crazy lol. R.E.D Posted September 22, 2023 Share Posted September 22, 2023 I believe 2180 which is the older model has a bit more overdrive.71 instead of .73 of the t318..so you would be loosing a tiny bit of top speed..also I think the older model trans ptos will not work on the t318 .. hopefully someone will chime in and verify this .
