j hancock Posted December 22, 2017 Share Posted December 22, 2017 I haven't had to mess with one yet but there is a module or cluster that takes the signal from the speed sensor and converts. Vladislav Posted December 23, 2017 Share Posted December 23, 2017 Yes, the sensor is the same one supplying the speedo gauge. So if you see the speed is shown with no odometer turning it means your gauge is bad. Sorry, no experience fixing them or taking apart. The tacho is a different sensor and the gauge to operate with.
