Mackpro Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 That 5 is actually a "S". You got a MID-128, SID-3, FMI-8. Which is a 8-3 code in the Mack book. Its your #3 EUP pump. FMI-8 usually means its somewhat working correctly but probably needs replacing in the future. This FMI-8 is a common code on the EUP's in older trucks. Mostly comes on when engine first starts up then goes out after it warms up. Boggy Posted October 8, 2016 Share Posted October 8, 2016 Hello I have a Mack it is a ch600 1997 and I'm having a problem, some time during the day the rpms will go all the way up, the niddle will go back sometimes but others it'll just stay hi and I have to shut it off.
