theakerstwo Posted July 12, 2016 Share Posted July 12, 2016 Disconnect the tack and speedo and connect the tack cable to the speedo and start the engine.If the speedohead is good it will work somewhat like the tackometer.To check the sensor you need to ohm it out and that sensor should have 900 to 1400 ohms if good. theakerstwo Posted July 12, 2016 Share Posted July 12, 2016 The cable its self can be repaired.Inside of the trans is a drive gear that can go bad so you can remove it and check it.Also mack sure the the head is free and will turn.
