dek1581 Posted June 3, 2016 Share Posted June 3, 2016 at first glance both the mack 300 (285 hp) and 300 plus (315 hp) appear the same. what is the easiest way to tell the difference between the two (unless by cleaning off the engine tag and giving mack a holler). j hancock Posted June 3, 2016 Share Posted June 3, 2016 The 300 Plus Thermodyne will have the top of the cam gear housing in front of the pump stamped ETAZ673A and the 300 Maxidyne will be stamped ENDT676.
