1958 F.W.D.
Heard back from my guy in the Netherlands. Not many C-Mack Firetrucks in Europe at all, if any other than yours, therefore parts will be slim to none. Can you see if there is a Mack casting number on them? Perhaps they are not exclusive to the C-Model. I have to believe they could have been used on other Mack chassis. Anyone know the answer? 1958 F.W.D.
Michael I am working on some answers for you. I suspect two things: 1. That those tie rod ends are not exclusive to C-Models 2. They may not even be exclusive Mack parts. Will let you know as soon as I have answers for you. 1 Quote TWO STROKES ARE FOR GARDEN TOOLS
j hancock
Here is some previous discussion that maybe helpful. Which axle do you have? It is marked on the right side next to the right spindle. It will start with FA, like FA 505, FA 517, for example. Quote JimIt doesn't cost anything to pay attention.
39 Baby Mack
If you can't find those ends, you could probably change the whole tie rod over to the later style (hollow tube, male threaded ends). Might be easier in the long run. Ron Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Michael Tacke
@1958 F.W.D. I can´t see any number on the tie rod end but I think it isn´t a Mack part. I found this in the internet http://www.vanhorntruckparts.com/product/23665/Tie-Rod-End-E-10114-Mack/ I think this could be the right one?
