b61mack Posted June 1, 2015 Share Posted June 1, 2015 On my way out to York PA. for the truck show I was watching my turbo boost I am building 10 psi. is this all a 300+ makes. exhaust temps. get to 1000 degrees at 1500 rpm in the mountains, is this normal for the exhaust temps. and turbo boost. The Air Research says it is the same number for the 285 but Schwitzer says a different number for the 285?Different numbers for the 350.Maybe run your VIN past a good dealer to verify for your application just to be sure. I will call Mack and see how much a reman turbo is going for, last one I bought was around $500. a few years ago hope they hadn't went up like all the other parts.
