Do they even teach reverse at " truck driving school" anymore?

CDL test requires backing in straight line, backing into another lane, and backing into a loading dock. An optional backing test is parallel parking. Backing on a "test" course is easier than real world. That is why I want a short trailer but I have been told short trailers have their issues too.

Believe it or not,the longer it is,the easier it is to back up,i can't back up one of those 20 foot containers to save my ass!....................................Mark

Yea it's always fun trying to back up a little trailer...specially when the truck is longer than the trailer..

In my case the truck is long and the trailer is long.

The trick is the truck being shorter than the trailer.

My MH has a short wheelbase so hopefully it will not be too difficult. Hopefully I will not have to back-up too often.
