Hello Dan,

I don't want to say "all" buuuut, all the 6 bangers that I have seen have a pipe that is a 30-45 degree bend (depending on application) on R, U, RW vs. your 90 degree bend for the first pipe out of the turbo.

The pipe for the 6 is made out of thin wall exhaust steel and is retained by a V style exhaust clamp.

In the picture, yours has the look of being cast material.

I assume you are looking for another 90 degree bend section?

It doesn't cost anything to pay attention.

The v8's have a heavy cast elbow due to the high heat and burn thru on STD exhaust pipe when at such a tight angle, the engines with turbos mounted on the side inline with the path of the exhaust (6 cyls) have a down pipe made of heavy guage exhaust tubing I've seen it used on a v8 and it burned thru straight behind the exhaust outlet on the turbo within a year on a working truck STD tubinf works ok once you get away from the turbo and the temp drops a couple hundred degrees.
