There was no one around so I don't have any information on how these Jersey dogs made their way south. Maybe one day I'll make contact with the owner and unravel the mystery. Wiley Farm Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 Howdy You-all ! The B models are 1959 B67's per the owner. Just talked with him, since I live about 20 miles away. He said he is willing to sell any of the trucks. He said he also has extra cabs, engines, transmissions, rears, etc. These trucks belonged to his dad who has passed away about 2 years ago. He said he bought 7 old b models from a guy in N.J. about 35 years ago. He said he also has some old Dodge road tractors and the Ford L9000. His name is Larry Whitehead. Address is 5520 Hog Mountain Rd (Hwy 53) & his phone is 706-769-6013. He said he would sell all, some or parts. I also asked him about a B61 about 10 miles from his place on "New Highshoals Rd" and he said the guy still has the truck and would like to sell it. His name is Allen Carter. Hope this info helps. Wiley Farm Posted February 8, 2012 Share Posted February 8, 2012 When I talked with Mr Whitehead he told me he just sold one of the B61's which was running for $3500. He said he sold it to a young man (18-20) which he was going to restore. He said the young man was going to drive it home which was about 15 miles away. Mr Whitehead said he told him he would haul it for him because the truck was not road legal. Nice to hear there are some young people that do have their head on straight! Very unusual for young people here in the south to be interested in any type of "old" iron. Not sure what he wants for any of the other trucks or parts.
