  2. ya fellas especially mecho i did know what you were talking about but i thought i would take it a step further......i trained on one just like mine ,,,but it was a U model....it was an old plymouth rock tractor....im sure alot of you fellas remember them......like you said,,,,dcw those old guages were the best we are ever going to see...bob

Years ago I had a 48 Plymouth I got from my one owner 75,000 miles car was quiet as a mouse except for one little rattle somewhere in the back I never did get to find it sold the car shortly after I bought it because I was moving west had to unload everything I didn’t need But that one little noise was driving me crazy immediately ha ha

  15. Yes I was never really a big fan of them either I almost bought one back in 86 I don’t know why I changed my mind but I wound up with a cruise lighter instead I think because it was only a single axle I wanted a twin drive I think that’s the same with most of us that are into the R model
  16. Prior to that I had a 350 Thermodyne that engine was a lot healthier pull the hills a lot better … Also thanks for that information on the 300 plus I never really knew anything about them either except they were pretty good engine performance wise… Bob
  17. I ran a 300 four valve In A U model I thought the engine was a dog and it sounded like shit did not sound like a Mac engine at all … bob
