KooL!
I like the mini dozer on the trailer. I think it is Struck ??? that is made in the Buffalo, NY area. Used to see them advertised in the back pages of Popular Mechanics magazine.

.60 overdrive.

The trend continues....
Wonder what the judge has to say?

I have used an old mattress or a pile of old blankets and rolled B cabs onto the back panel for sandblasting the bottom side of the floors.
Used two other people to lift and roll slowly and have never done any damage.
Sandblasting standing up is bad enough.

Very interesting article!
I found the comment about turning back the odometer when serviced and this was IL law amusing. Just try to do that now!

Yup, a T2060 is air.
X107A is a air six speed but has multply reverse gears.
-
I think the overdrive ones were X107A.
"A" is for air shift. Loose the second lever and gain the air selector.
X1070A would be an air shift overdrive.

She looks sad.....
Maybe she is looking for a big red KY,.....Oooops, KW.
You might think about actually STOPPING the truck and see if she wants to go for a ride???

Sort of a mystery why Jack had to rerun it on fleabay so many times because it looks good.
What looks bad is my empty wallet!
The wheelbase on your truck looks longer than the 245" of my B75 so be prepared for a BIG turning radius.
Then again, you probably already figured that out!
Congrats on your purchase!

Too sweet is right! A little goes a long way with me.
It seems like everyone has to have fancy light grade A, but I prefer dark B or lower.....maple syrup molasses.
Or a firm C cup.......Oooops, sorry, my mind is wandering back into the gutter.

You will need the front axle number so you know what is needed for the pins and parts.
The number is stamped on the right side of the axle facing toward the front. It will be on the angled section going toward the pass. side spindle. Example such as FA505 or FA517.
Some people remove some rear leaves and add a spacer block to keep the height but you loose carrying capacity.
Looks like you have been shopping at Old Mack's.

Mack made some tri drive with B models in the middle 60's.

Looks like a good rig. The fifth wheel being so far back must be interesting.

Great looking truck!
Maybe it is just the angle of the picture but that pot seems really low to the ground?

The V12 is a 1974 owned by Mark Hothmer in NY.

Hey Tim, Wasn't in NH but about an hour away down in MA. UMass brings in a lot of people so somebody decided that another mall would be a good thing.

Good looking ride!
I looked at the first picture too fast and my brain said an x- Bentley Warren Superliner out of Rowley, MA (?).
My brain sometimes needs an auto-correct feature....

Tim, great pictures.
I think all of us wish we had taken pictures of what we used to see "everyday".
There was a beautiful farm and farmland about an hour away from me. Didn't go that way for about 10 years or so and now it is a strip mall.

It still is all pretty spooky. Everybody has memories of where they were.
I was at home sick that day and had the news on and saw it all.
Jacquie decided that a different job and living in NH would be better!
Condolences to all that lost loved ones.

At the Greensboro ATHS national show in 1997, he also had 1955 W71 that was a dark grey color. Maybe the same truck after he had done some work to it?

I heard the story on the Cruiseliner was that it was bought with a Government grant by someone in NY state who wanted to start a company. The truck never even made it on the road and was in storage since the original owner took delivery. It was found under a tarp while Tackaberry was looking at another truck he made the trip down to buy. Talk about hidden tresures!
I have never asked George directly about the story on this truck, but have heard basically the same thing.

My girlfriend has a friend that was going to a job interview at the WTC that day. Jacquie wanted to get there early to find the right office and relax a little bit before the meeting. She was about a block away when it happened and was able to get away.

Hmmmm......I am predicting that the gold paint won't last too long on the exhaust manifolds!
Just the way it should be.

That white stuff should keep the dust down.
