I'm certain this is not your problem but one time I had a driver who kept complaining that there was something wrong with my truck, said it bounced like a bronco but only in the morning and then it would go away,I checked everything and couldn't find the problem, turned out to be the road he was taking to the job site.lol
-
This is getting complicated,I hope for your sake that the problem lies in the other tire or drum.
-
Removed the drum on the pass side today, as it was the one that has a heavy spot...with the rim/tire off, that one always rolls heavy side down...
Took the drum off, everything "looks" okay...reinstalled the wheel and tire...no change in the bounce! Dammit! Before I pull the other side, I am goin to temporarily put the steers on the back and air them down...if it is a front rim or tire problem, it should be evident,,,
I think that's your best bet, swap the tires and rims and see what happens..
-
Watching the vid you can see the axle its self bouncing up and down, that tells me its and out of round tire, also put you pointer on the brake drum and you can clearly see it bounce up and down along with the axle and the rest of the front end, swap out the tires and rims if you can and see what happens.

Every fall and spring I have to open that valve in the morning for heat and then about noon time I have to shut it off to turn on the ac,gets to be a pain, lol

I don't think your gonna be happy with a side mount pto, your just not going to be able to raise the bed fast enough in the low gears to spread stone,I had both and the rear mount is much better in my opinion,I had to use forth or fifth gear to get my bed to raise at a decent rate with the side mount.

I think the gold chains are fake. Can I use that as my avatar?
Be my guest,I'm thinking of using it as my screen saver LOL

Hi, its not bad, no score marks or anything.

If were me I would do the rods and main bearings and maybe a new oil pump, thats if I thought the top of the motor was good, not using oil and having decent compression, good luck..

The crank will need to be replaced or resurfaced won't it ?
-
That's some bounce alright, something definitely out of round..
-
I would suspect the front tires..

Can't believe the price of tires, just got a price on Goodyear 12/24.5 from the tire shop I always use and who always has the pest prices he told me 690 apiece, just last summer the same tire was five and change even the continental tire in that size was almost six hundred,he also told me the price is just gonna keep going up along with the price of oil and everything else,Not looking good at all !!!
-
That might but a little strain on Killer-B pulling that monsta around, lol
-
You gotta go to the bank and take out a mortgage just to change the oil in your truck lol..
-
Been doing that for years, running my 96 cl with two 12 volt instead of 4 12 volt and my 90 RD with just two 12 volt,so far so good but im sure they wont last as long as 4,also a lot of trucks running three 12 volts from the factory, seems to work good also.

Been using 15/40 motor oil for years and have no problem even in bitter cold weather, why use tyranny fluid when Mack recommends motor oil?If it's a hobby truck ok but if your running every day I think you should use what Mack recommends, can the tyranny fluid lubricate the pump as well as motor oil, just asking because I don't know and I'm thinking that's why they recommend the motor oil.

My question is do all brands of the same size tire have the same weight rating? do all 12/24.5 have a weight rating of 7830 in a single application,I have a 20,000 pound axle in my CL dump but can only put 15.660 on it,what else can I do,will different size spokes bolt to my drums if so what size should I go with,if it doesn't cost to much I'd like to up my weight permit for next season,Thanks for any help..

LOL,saw a guy once who forgot to open his tail gate when dumping a load with a ten wheeler, man was he up there, lol

So very sorry for your loss!

Damned thing starved out again while moving it last night. Seems I forgot to tighten the suction hose fitting at the tank after starting it by hand. One of those things I forgot to do when the telephone broke my limited train of thought. Simple fix but sure a pain in the ass. Getting these V8's to prime with no hand primer pump is difficult so I built up a regulator and apply 35 psi to the tank while the vent bleeds. It sure helps to force fuel through the system till the air is purged in the fuel gallery within the pump. Silicone lubricant spray helps to get the engine running so you don't have to grind on the starter for several minutes.
If I had my gorilla I'd just have her crank it around with a bar but ole randyp is being a little selfish these days.
Rob
In the past I've used a piece of bike tube attached to the neck of the fuel tank with a hose clamp, worked great and won't blow up the tank.

setting jake and valves on 4 valve E7

I believe you have to apply downward pressure to the push rod side while your adjust the valves,if you do that and are adjusting in firing order at tdc on the compression stroke, you should be good, make sure your on the compression stroke, good luck.
