  1. If theres not one already, somebody needs to come up with a "scientific" sounding name for this malady, sure it's happened to everyone at least once, where you hiccup, sneeze, burp, cough, fart all at the same time!......results are seldom pretty!..........Mark
  2. LMAO! i think at one time most everyone has had the "stop-light shits"! especially us truckdrivers!.................Mark
  3. Heres a good one, hope it does'nt offend anyone! LOL!............Mark
  4. I completely agree with Rob, no apology nessesary! was'nt for some of the shit i read and see on here, i'd be a lot less "sane" then what i am! spend WAY too much time by myself in that truck! nice to have something to laugh about! everybody knows the old saying about too much heat in the kitchen right? just keep em' coming! LMAO!........Mark
  5. Thats one of the reasons i moved out of NJ, tired of the BS! lived there all my life up until 2 years ago.....between the asshole governor, taxes, high cost of living, highest car insurance rates in the country.......have you ever seen one of the mobile smoke test trucks? they all have the "grim reaper" painted on them! so that shows their serious about screwing somebody out of their hard earned money! now-adays trucking is hard enough, without this needless bullshit! jersey has become a joke the last few years, never thought i'd hear myself say that! but it's true....the sopranos quit the state, springsteen ,and now me too! LMAO!.......Mark
  6. Damnifino! but if i was a younger man, not happily married, i'd damn sure find out! LOL!.....Mark
  7. My hats off to Arizona for approving a new type motorcycle seat to be used by those riding near the border, wish other states would follow suit!....Mark
  8. Oh man! thats funny right there! i don't care who you are!....Mark
  9. I hear what you're saying! i moved to VA from NJ to be closer to my outbound freight, things were going along pretty good up until a few months ago, when one of my biggest customers (stanley furniture) closed-up their factory ( without any notice/warning ) put 530 people out of a job, in an already financially depressed area. Of course the plant relocated to mexico! time was when you gave a place your all, you had a job long as you wanted one, not so anymore! i have really had to scramble to try and get the paying freight i once had! i'm still doing the same amount of revenue/ work i was twenty years ago, for about the same money! none of my expenses have changed, still got bills to pay! the "little guy" is going away slowly but surely! the "big -box' mentality is taking over thats for sure, its price OVER quality now-adays...........Mark
  10. Yeah, their my favorite years too (there is a '67 in that picture if you missed it lol!) i had a '67 le mans, with a later 389-4 speed (wish i'da kept it) still have the '70 chevy pickup i had in high school (wife says she'll prob. bury me in it, too big a hole to dig to fit my CX in!) then its been "family" type cars ever since!........Mark
  11. I know what you mean! i was sitting at a light, getting ready to take off, felt a really bad vibration, thought my clutch was going! nope, some asshole in a escalade with the LOUDEST stereo i have ever heard! it was shaking the steering wheel OVER the normal vibrations of the truck running!.....Mark
  12. Just for the record, heres a few pictures of some of my alltime favorite cars (showing my age i guess) but this is what "real" cars look like! hell everybody likes a GTO right!?..........Mark
  13. I agree with ya'! we have em' here too, if a had a stereo that sounded that bad, i'd take it back! now, straight-pipe "music" from a thermodyne is something i can live with! its either these, or the little import cars with the "paint can" exaust pipe (sounds like a wet fart to me!) guess i have to work on my tolerance skills, but these things are very annoying to me! times are changing, thats for sure! i was a bit of a "gearhead" back in high school,my pals and i liked to talk cars & trucks, but seems to me, most of these kids don't even know what a carburetor is, or what exactly it does, never dealt with points, timing etc. just stick some giant wheels on it, a 5000 watt radio, paint it the worst color you can find, and you got yourself a hot rod!...............Mark
  14. I guess! but how the hell would you even get in the damn thing???? stepladder?
  15. I'm gonna' havta' get up there some of these days! looks like he has a lot of stuff right up my alley!..........Mark
  16. I think its supposed to be! but everyone knows this is what a real taxi looks like! LOL!........Mark
  17. Thats what i'm talking about,i don't like them either! that would be a really sharp olds without those dumbass wheels! thats what made me think of this, i saw a REALLY nice 70 buick GS the other day, would have been nice with cragars/ keysones looked to be all stock with the exception of those gigantic wheels! they havta' be 26" 28" they are bigger than the 22.5's on my truck!................Mark
  18. I still just don't get it....i'd love to look at one of these without the owner present, just to see what the front suspention "engineering" looks like, A-frames, drag link, tie rod, shocks etc...........Mark
  19. I am starting to see more and more of these "things" on the road everyday, just wondered if someone could explain to me what goes on here? do these people not realize how ridiculous these cars look with these giant wheels? or how unsafe this is? not to mention what this does to the frontend telemetry/ driveline alighnment! i have always liked classic cars and trucks, but this is taking it too far for me! just hafta' laugh everytime i see one of these dipshits crusing along at 70 mph on 26" wheels, low profile rubberband tires, sitting up so high they are eye level with my CX!.............Mark
  20. I think they all look pretty "qualified" to me! LOL!.........Mark
  21. I have also hired a security man to look out for my best interests, and to keep tabs on my staff, he comes highly recomended, i found his ad in the local paper, he only charges $50.00 a day plus expenses!................Mark
  22. I tell ya' sometimes i think the world has gone to hell in a handbasket! are people really this dumb???? the company i'm leased to just bought 4 new great dane trailers, and stenciled inside is an arrow pointing to the front of the trailer,it says "freight goes in here" and "close doors after loading" (no kidding) and these dumb ass warning labels! i recently bought a bucket of paint at lowes, and it says "do NOT carry baby in empty bucket" it gets better, i have a bag of charcoal for my new grill, it has a warning as well, "do not use this product to cook inside, the fumes can KILL YOU" (no shit!) ever get any new electronic equipt.? that little bag of dessicant inside says "do not eat"! guess common sense is'nt so common anymore!................Mark " The world's a tough place pilgrim, it's even tougher when you're stupid " -- John wayne --
  23. Note to headquarters- as far as "fixing you up" with my personal staff, that is completely out of the question! they are all "tied up" and un-available for transfer at this time. I DO have two promising young ladies from the secretarial pool, that are excited to join our organization! they are headed for texas as we speak! i'm sure they will serve you and V.P. rhasler well! i have enclosed photos of the girls, so you can put a name to the face when they arrive. photo # 1 shows the girls.......Little debbie (like the snack cake) and the lovely Hagitha louise ! they will arrive in the company car (provided at my expense mind you) photo # 2.............
