My favorite country musician (Waylon) got to see him perform shortly after he lost his foot,did'nt slow him down a bit onstage! he put on one hell of a show! my brother and I got to talk with him a few minutes after the show,real decent,down to earth guy......we lost him shortly thereafter,won't be anymore like him,especially in todays crowd of "country" singers!......................................Mark

  7. I found this looking for pictures of benches for our backyard deck,and thought this was a neat idea,a little hard to see in the picture,but the backrest part of the bench is an early Chevrolet pick-up tailgate! might just have to make one myself,i like it!................Mark

  16. That's a sharp truck! big fan of the Western R-Models,just have to make the STRONG argument against the Green-Leaker! personally,i'd look for a good used E-6 or even a 237 before a drip-troit!...............................Mark

Not much to report this week,i DID however see a Gen-U-Ine U-Model at the place I picked up at yesterday,it was only there a few minutes,not enough time for me to get out and look at it or talk to the driver. It was Mack powered,a roll-back body,it was delivering a new forklift,had to scramble (fumble) to get my phone out fast enough to get a couple pictures. Shoulda' seen the cloud of black smoke when he left! made me smile! Lol!...................................Mark
  25. Yup,Hayward (Western) F-Models were available with quad headlights for a short time,and I agree with Mike,shuold be a 335 Cummins,all early Cummins blocks were based on the 355 series block casting. Nice straight western bumper BTW!.........................Mark
