I know there is some difference in head bolt patterns. and sizes

Very nice selection of trucks, and very good pics!

The original B models had a filter on the left side that was a filter that the top turned and scraped the filter clean, then went to the right side with a filter like the bottom photo of above post. terry

When I clean a 7th injector I use Berrymans B12 cleaner (spray) and a soft bristle brush to clean the injector. Then I flow clean the 7th injector using a bottle w/#4 strataflex line with an air charge port(a/c system cleaner bottles). I fill the bottle about a 1/4 with Berrymans B12 cleaner, pressure the bottle, use Pro Tech Tool to activate the 7th injector and watch the spray pattern. Reset the 7th injector adaptive factor so the eecu knows it has been cleaned, that way it will have proper delivery when performing a regen. If it has an air purge system then make sure it is working or that would cause the 7th injector to soot over quicker than usual.
It should have some air pressure with the key on. If not, the air regulator and on/off solenoid is usually located at the air dryer. Voltage is supplied to the solenoid by the air dryer purge heater - there is a jumper harness that connects to the purge valve heater and runs over to the solenoid valve.
Makes the old mechanical engines look better and better!

Why list something without a price?

Isn't everything in Hemmings pretty high? terry

Looks like it already has the bellhousing you need.
Didn't the old bell housing have a big guide studs where them ears are on the top of the bellhousing? terry

no intercooler or air to air is a 237.... I think a new waterpump is around 50 bucks larry. I know you need your 673 crank hub as its shorter. the 237 one is for a 3 groove pulley and theres not enough room between the dampner and the radiator crossmember. that water rail and oil cooler and filter setup is pretty commom also, but like we all know, non exhistent when your lookin for it. my cousin is runnin the smaller B61 radiator(the one that doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the horsecollar) with a 237 and it doesn't run hot. if your rad is in good condition you shouldn't have a problem.
Doesn't it need the short waterpump too. terry

Did the 675T HAVE an intercooler? I have the same motor (even mine is gold!), dont see any mounts or provisions for a intercooler?!?
675 Does not have an intercooler terry

Why not just make one? terry

I have heard rumor a 237 or 300 will suck the oil out of the oil bath turbo air cleaner on a B. might be worth changing to a paper filter rather than having the engine take off on you.
Drove a 237 with a oil bath cleaner for years, never a problem ever. terry

This 1962 B-613LST was an old Herman Bros. tractor,673T,15 speed Triplex,Hendrickson all aluminum beam suspension, aluminum hood, air start, single aluminum fuel tank, and cast aluminum air cleaner. I have the original title showing a $1,000,000 lein on it. I was told when they bought new trucks, their bank put the lein on only 1 unit.. Has the lein ever been cleared? Might be hard to sell. LOL. terry I think they heavy into air start engines.

How bad is the lower flange? terry

The green one almost looks the color of the old Herman Bros. out of Omaha years ago. And I think they did have some other terminals around the midwest. Terry

B42 w/673 $6100
B71 $8200
1949 Freuhauf $1800
1957 Freuhauf $3200
1979 Great Dane $2900
Snow Runners $700 each
I didn't buy any of them.

If you look close that trans. has three boxes bolted together, that is a real early six speed, and as far as that engine it is a 237. I also ran a 237 for years in front of a quad with a single disc pusher clutch in a dump truck, Never had any trouble, but I was the only driver. terry Also those early six speeds were direct and underdrive or direct and a real wide overdrive.
