Hey yall CHECK OUT THIS B83 Log yarder truck i hadnt seen one these used in awhile in a logging operation around here B83
OLe Hummin cummins in it i bet w/ some modifying it make a hell of a winch truck for stuck dozers & trucks or w/ a little TLC & Elbow grease this ole could be a awsome show piece too w/ the same winchs on it too :bmod2: :bmod1:
a buddy of my pops (granddad) had a yardder truck in his operation it was a ACAR But the ole truck was a hoss wish i had picks of it . just lookin brings back memories

Oh to go back to an oil leak on wheels sometimes beats this new stuff.
How i agree w/ that statement id rather have a ole 2 stroke screamin jimmy or a NTC or NH SERES Cummins or a E6 OR E7 Motor than some this newer stuff . easier to work on too

As it has come on the ATHS board............"Very Truckly" looking truck!!!
I like it!!! If that don't scream "Bad to the bone" I don't know what could?
Amen F.T. I Always liked the look of the hood scoop on the 's too makes for a cool look i think while being usefull at the same time
Thanks Herb & Superdog for the info i thought the scoop was to do w/ the 300 Maxidyne's as that was the only DM's i have seen them on we never had the scoop on our DM's as they were 237 Maxidynes it makes sense tome now thanks for teaching this "pup" a new trick yall
Btw Herb thats 1 good looking DM 686 W/ Butterfly hood
never seen a hood scoop on a butterfly hood DM Most of the ones i have seen were on the fiberglass hood DM Model's
later yall & have a goodone
