  1. call me a hard nose to change but ill take a R,RD,RB, & A DM Over a granite & granite axle back just because of untill last year when my granddad passed on thats all we used in our grading business (excet an ocational autocar or Gmc ) everything was liqiudated for his estate im workin for someone else but would like to @ least go backinto dump buckets

    I know more bout the older dogs than the new ones ill take the ole E-6 & E7 Motors over the new Asset & MP7 ANYDAY RIGHT NOW TILL I LEARN MORE BOUT THEM :blink:

    like to have a 2003 or 2004 ledgend (spell?) R-Model :)

  2. take your s/n from door write it down call Mack museum give s/n to them youll get the history of the truck sent to ya i dont remember the phone# to Mack musem but im sure some has info to get hold of them it takes a little time to get your history but it is well worth the wait ;) it doesnt cost anything but these people do this service volluntarly & donations are greatly aprceatted i sent them $50 bucks but it was worth it to me to find out the history of my B-model to me

  3. I live in SC but I do notice when I go to GA you never see any tri-axles.  I was told, and read in the other replys that GA does no recognize a tri-axle configuration.  Therefore a lift axle is just additonal empty weight that you do not need.  :mack1:

    Arkansas doesnt reckonize the 3rd axle either but if ya got it ya better use over it there other wise if ya get caught not using & your loaded the fine is outrageous :blink:

  4. we never had a Dog w/ a Jimmymotor but had plenty of 9500's (long & shortnose) ,Brigadiers, & Generals w/ Detroits the last brigadier we had i just sold it had a 318 w/ short resignator mufflers man our driver made that ole 318 jimmy sounded sweet going through the 13spd pulling those dozers & trackhoe & I.H. Blackstripe1066 tractor & pan & sheepfootroller round Memphis esp under the overpasses on the bigroads round Memphis B):thumb:

    Also like to hear a 6v92 & 238 too esp when a 238 still cold & idling : whommp whoomp whoomp whoomp B)

Hi yall im from 20 miles north of Memphis, Tn WAS NAMED AFTER MY dads B422T Mack s/a tractor (which i still i have & runs to this day :SMOKIE-LFT::thumb: ) it has a 711 dad put in it insted of a 438 mack gas motor that was orignally in it dad bought it w/ the 438 blown & put the 711 in also double framed & 10spd duplex & 617 ratio r/a will run 50 mph & pull a house down ;)

    it was our lowboy tractor untill 1998 when DOT Made us go to a tandem tractor (we wasnt overloaded but on the border line )

    My family was in the excavating business untill apirl of this year when my granddad passed (no will & everything sold to liqidate his estate ) i plan on getting back into the business

    we owned F-Models, Several B-Models , Cruiseliners , Superpuppys , West coast & R & DM Models over the years

    I managed to have my namesake titled in my name so its safe i plan on being @least back into the dump truck business by spring or summer of 06 when pops estate will be settled dirt not only gets on your hands but in your blood after awhile hope to have a :mack1: DM OR :mack1: R Model by next year

    I Live up to my name yall is there anyother truck except maybe a Ford Powerstroke ? :D
