    Wow That's quite the link you put up there John It almost sad reading the comments after the article. I had to stop and close the link.. I was getting mad I'm still a proud Mack Truck owner and a loyal Mack Truck enthusiast I can only hope this VTNA move isn't going to mess up the Mack name any more than it already has.     You know what ??? Talkin about see.. Ever since I visited Jim and sat in the driver's seat of himtruck.. Wow !!! I'd like to fit my truck with a set of 95 Jeep seats LOL Thanks for the offer Larry I really appreciate that. I luv it how everybody helps out everybody here.. Hopefully I'll be able to do the same for you guys.

    I'm back from visiting Jim's shop. Didn't get to meet Winston or Ruby but I did get to see his truck up close. I have to tell yeah.. pictures don't do it Justis... After the frame got sandblasted and painted. All I can say is INCREDIBLE FINISH The frame is Smooth and shiny. Looks great. and while I was there. I got to sit in the new driver's seat. Those Jeep seats are gonna be perfect in the truck. Thanks for the hospitality Jim. I luv'd the tour of your shop. Your livin the dream man. You guys have built an great facility there.

    Yeah... I have to agree with Mike. Some how over the years the "B" in B61 on the ownership got changed to a "P" Not a problem... All I need is a letter, with a Mack Dealership letter head stating that it is infact a "B" and could not possibly be a "P" and the Ministry of curbs and pot hole with correct the ownership. I just had the same thing done to my 57 Chev truck... When I bought it.. The ownership said it was a 57 GMC. It wasn't.. It was a Chevy truck. Got a letter from the chev dealership, short story short. bada bing bada boom ownership fixed

    Mmmm The first character in the serial number on the ownership is definitely a "P"

    The P in the serial # meens it is a Platform truck (straight truck) so this means there was 47,459 from 1953 to 66 mine being a 1957
