  7. For awhile in the 80's all of the Commodity trucks had a cartoon dog on the side of the hood. "Deputy Dog" is the only name I remember. Any ways it's name may have have Deputy Dog, but e everyone refered to it as Lil' Red . 300 and a 2 stick 6, doesn't get more Mack than that. -Brad

  9. I think it looked slightly better after the rustoleum overhaul I gave it. I sold it to an excavator in Belvidere, who ran it for a short while. He sold it and I then lost track of it. -Brad

  15. We have been running the Bandag Megtrak for a couple years and they have been great. Good wear and good traction. I am a big fan of recaps. Drivers love to blame tire failure on the recap, not the fact that they ran it low for 3 days. Normally we only cap our casings, and even then we scrutinize them before we send them in. We have a local fuel hauler who has us do his service work. Him and his driver are 2 of the fussiest guys when it comes too their trucks. They run Bandag Megatraks and they cap every casing twice. -Bard

  18. After Macks, my next truck love are Hendricksons. I even like the ones with the S-series IH cab. I have some pictures around, gotta scan them. -Brad
  19. I looked at it last spring. At that time he was asking $15K. EM-7 300 mechanical, fuller 13 sp, mack rears, mack air ride. Nice set up. Didnt have a phone number on his for sale sign, but i didnt consider that an issue because I know guys, that know that guy. -Brad
  20. The stock one's on my truck were amber/red. every R-model is that way also. -Brad
