Well done, Doug. I agree with Morgan, it never ceases to amaze me how many LTs have survived. They seem to come out of the woodwork...literally in this case! LOL.

Looks great now so keep her as a dump truck. As a former dumpie driver, I am most envious. She's an awesome beastie. Nothing looks better than a Mack dumper.
Thad, how's "your" L going? Is she still in okay condition?
-
That is an incredible truck, Barry. You're right not to change a thing. That's what we all hope to find one day!
-
Hope to meet up when you get down here mate. There's some great shows in your neck of the woods.

Awesome 1945 EHU added to the registry by Mackrawl. Check out his Gallery.

Mack. As Mike says, they're becoming scarce. Plus you've got a fair bit of your own history with that truck even if you haven't owned her yet. Too many trucks are getting scrapped these days.

Knobby and Mrs Knobby, from your photos of Dubbo, it looks as though at times we were in the almost the same spot at the same time!
Rob, if you make it down to Victoria I might be able to hook you up with a B-model drive. Also, I know a guy with a passion for IH Scouts so can accomodate you there too.
Monty, Dubbo was awesome! Great camaraderie throughout the show. I chatted with Ed briefly while whizzing around in Bruce Gunter's red Commer during the parade and he mentioned a couple of things he'd like to do better. There's always room for improvement but it was a truly excellent weekend.

Indeed! Awesome.

Great variety. Thanks for posting the link, Barry. Some droolworthy gear there.

A bit of a change from the days when the U meant she was a cabover.
-
Well said, Paul. Fair to say probably something we are all guilty of from time to time - impulse truck buying! LOL.
-
You coming down to Victoria, Rob?

Truly a life of service. He will be missed. RIP.

Bloody awesome!

EF 1D 2784
Garth, is that an intentional gap between the EF and 1D? Just wondering whether a T might fit in between? Having said that, there were EF1S Es so EF1D makes sense (haven't got my book handy to check and prevent asking a silly question!).
Most of the low numbered Es on the registry don't have corresponding years at present but of the few that do, 1945 is as close as I can suggest.

Your wish is my command, Garth!

Welcome Knobby, great looking B! Good to see a "new" one. Hope you enjoy it here.

G'day Joe
Not a bad idea, mate. I'll have to leave it hanging for a bit as I'm in the middle of a move to the other side of the country but it's certainly worth getting stuck into. There are quite a few Es out there but I haven't had the time to chase many down lately. This sticky in BMT keeps things ticking over.

Great pics, mate, thanks for sharing!

Good luck Craig, they sound like a great pair of trucks.
-
All the best, mate, hope everything from your back to the insurance check comes through.
-
Bloody ripper truck, Chris.

Hi,
I just came across an EE that is being restored. I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I hope it helps. Check out www.ragtoproad.com he has an EE in his projects page undergoing restoration.
Regards,
Tracy for Kevin www.allmacks.com

That's exactly what I'm looking for. I haven't been trawling the net for Es for a while so appreciate you posting those details. I'll drop the Walzs a line.
Btw, and what an EE!
