Early E-tech's were the ones, from what I learned, the brass spindle that the roller, spun on, would flat spot and stopthe roller and then the firestorm starts.. I have seen 'flaked' rollers, pitted rollers, and flatened rollers down the the yoke on the lifter, cutting into the lifter, and still running, terrible of course... did I answer youre question? jojo

no need to go with an E-9..... The E-7 will do a damn good job. and the CH is not built for that 3200 Lb. engine... Of course, torches, a good welder, patience, and lot's of money can make it happen.... ..jojo

well the bottom of the compressor has ports for the oil to drain back into the pan... Sounds feasible.. jojo

Just for kick's.... look at the cam sensor plug and socket (eng. position sensor) Do the same for the crank sensor (R.P.M./ T.D.C. sensor) look for fraying of the wires where it goes into the plug. The R.P.M. sensor may have a 3 pin plug with only 2 wires.. you can also, un-plug one of them and try to start the engine, it will crank for a few seconds before starting, and will run rough when it starts. then plug it back in and un-plug the other sensor, and crank it up. if it does not start, the sensor that Is plugged in is bad. These engines can run on either one but uses both to balance it out.. Just one of my "off the wall" test's.. Let us know how it goes... jojo

is it the music stereo? if so .... expose all of the wires and record the color's and tracer's and look for a Vulva stereo/with the harness, and 'relate' the wires to the color code.... or am I just talkin out my a$$ ? jojo oh yeah then use PTT to tell the truck it has a new stereo...
