Took the H61 on its maiden voyage today, ran good.

Back from vacation. It always seems to go way too fast. Had fun surfing and enjoying the cool weather, now back to the nasty heat and work, yuck..
-
Floorpans are done! Now mocking up the interior to finish any more welding and fabrication so it'll be ready to be coated, woohoo. It's looking like a truck again, atleast on the inside.
-
The new air ride and rear end didn't go in quite as planned but it'll work with some fabbing. Would be nice for something to just bolt right up.
-
Mama's got me side tracked with her projects for a few weeks. The other woman (my H model) is gonna have to wait a little bit.
-
Re-plumbed the brake system on the H61, just a few days away from a bonzai run in her.
-
Got most of the unused holes welded up in the frame. There was a bunch. She'll be smooth and nice once she's painted. Still a ways off though. Keep coming up with more things to make before I tear her down.
-
Adding a 53' H61 to the stable. So excited. Pics soon to follow once I get her home. I'm officically part of the more than one truck club, wooohooo. Just gotta get them going now.
-
Finally, exterior sheetmetal replacement, DONE!!!
-
Got the H61 reistered for the Cooler show in San Luis July 16. I'll be the only Mack misfit there probably but oh well.
-
Passenger side floorboard done! Onto the driver side tomorrow. My boy will love being able to walk inside the cab without falling through the rust holes

Fabbing up tranny mounts today and looking forward to seeing Packer and my new rear end next week.
-
H63 cab is leaving for the sheetmetal shop next month. I got the majority of the work done but realized how shitty sheetmetal work is to do. I'm gonna concentrate on the chassis. Got the rear air ride in and now to fab up mounts for the Big Cam III Cummins. I'll be ready to do some burnouts.

Tranny brackets are being fabricated, off to the beach on Thursday for a week, wooohooo. The old girl will have to wait a little bit

Hunting for parts to mix and match to make this rearend work. Mama said there'd be days like this but she didn't say they'd all be like this.
-
Rear end and air ride is buttoned up, front crossmember is moved back, just gotta fab up a few more things and the frame will be torn apart, blasted and then painted, woohoo.

It's nice to see these great trucks are appreciated everywhere, not just here in the U.S. I thought I'm having a hard time finding parts for my H-63, can't imagine what you have to go through to get stuff. Keep up the good work. I'm getting my cab media blasted today and going to start the sheetmetal repair next week. I'm going to post pics in my gallery of the progress.
