  1. It's going to my storage area in a few days, some members here are interested in it but I may keep it???What to do...
  2. Fired right up after a long nap!Ran good then started to skip, had water in the fuel...Changed the filter and drained the water.Started right back up,runs and sounds good but still skips.Cab and nose are in VERY nice shape!Double frame is super clean also, and that's hard to find around here.I'm thinking an injector is dirty/clogged?
  3. John Mastronardi from Springfield, they bought twin DM800's in 1970!Truck is on CL,not sure if they folded or?237 with 6 speed.
  4. I live on the MA border, just a real PITA driving in both states...
  5. Used to see DMM's quite a bit.One thing that really sucks about CT is you can't carry much at all in a 10 wheel dump, esp. a heavy one!
  6. That's a U609X,big rear with torque arms!Never saw a U this heavy duty before!!!
  7. A guy I know has the last B61X tractor they ran!It was fully rebuilt and hasn't been ran on the road since, needs a resto but the driveline and frame a great. They had many B's,can't believe there's no pics of them around.
  8. If the rest of the truck is nice i'd fix it.Be a shame to see it take a boat ride, and that's where it would end up for sure if you sell it.Unless a Mack lover bought it....
  9. Sounds like me at your age,me and my friends would drag anything out of the woods and start working on it!
  10. Wow,wouldn't of thought it'd be that bad on fuel!I think 25K maybe for this one condition wise would be fair.It has minor rust on parts, leaks, some of it is untouched.Just curious what others think the guy should offer. Not sure how "FIRM" they are???
  11. fxfymn-I think it's more of a "re-furb" also than a real 100 point nut/bolt resto.Also some items have been left untouched.
  12. Not sure how the frame is,doesn't seem to be rusted. It is used time to time from what I was told,i just don't see 50K myself....
  13. Friend of mine is looking at restored trucks, and is considering this one.Looks like a nice "driver resto" that could be used, cruised and showed. They are asking 50K for the truck, and I've seen it advertised in MANY places and it doesn't seem to be moving.Wondering what an honest value of the truck would be?I'm not that familiar with B87's.Not sure what it looks like under the hood either. http://www.truckpaper.com/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?OHID=3954199
  14. I know,i've been seeing them daly in CT/MA since I was a kid!And Vinny, saw them today and didn't have time to snap a pic!
  15. Yup,but not today...They got tied up with other things, tomorrow should be the day!
