I updated the Tapatalk plugin and everything seems to be working on the forum side...let me know if the problem still exists.

I just turned on a new BMT feature called CLUBS! Basically, members can create and moderate their own clubs inside of BMT! I am thinking that this would be great for maybe different models of trucks such as the B-Model Club or the A Model Club! Maybe Antique Truck Clubs would like a club on BMT? The possibilities are endless! So anyone interested in starting a club, click the link in the nav bar above or here: https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/clubs/ Club will need approved by me just to make sure we don't anything unsavory! Once your club is approved, go to the club home page and click MANAGE CLUB and then click TOPICS, edit as needed and SAVE! This will create the tab where you and your new members will make posts or whatever! You can do the same for Images, Blogs & Calendars if you wish. It's pretty simple but if you have any questions, let me know...I will be happy to help!

I had a bunch of requests on how some of the older members were able to donate to the forums and have their member status upgraded to VIP or Benefactor...the answer is that we used to have a donation plugin that allowed member upgrades but after one of the security updates, the plugin no longer worked. I was able to find a new plugin that allows member status upgrades for those of you wishing to help support the cost of hosting and domain fees! As a reward, donating members will be instantly promoted to a higher member level that includes more image and document upload space! The benefactor plan give you unlimited uploads! The VIP and Benefactor plans also give you a custom profile badge that appears under your avatar on all posts. All member upgrades are lifetime and have no reoccurring fees! Remember, these upgrades are not mandatory and you will NEVER be expected to pay to use BMT!! This donation system is purely voluntary for those that wish to donate and help support the forums. OK, I searched around and found a nice, light weight theme with dropdowns! It has the features we like but still runs pretty fast and is updated! I have made it the new default theme for BMT now!

Yeah, the old theme, Flux, became unsupported and out dated causing it to slow down...I can look for a new one with drop downs if you guys want?

Hey guys...I am switching the forum back to the default theme! It is pretty much the same as the old custom theme but it is lighter, less glitchy and runs faster! The old themes are still in the theme changer but lets give this one a try for a bit!

Phantom just replied to my PM but he said he no longer owns the truck and he didn't make any patterns.

I can get them made, I just need a sample or pattern for the fab shop to work from. I like the one the Phantom309 made but I can't seem to get a hold of him...hasn't been on BMT since 2016.

Hey guys, I have a few customers looking for B-Model Exterior Sun Visors...we kicked around the Aussie style visors but they all want more of a fiberglass or stainless ball cap style. Does anyone have any leads on visors? I saw the photo below on line but no idea where it came from or who is making them?? I'd like to get a stainless visor made but I would need a working sample or pattern to get it started! If anyone has a sample we could borrow, post some pics up and lets check it out!

Bumping this thread back to life...almost 1 year later and the forum seems to have picked up a little but I gotta agree with you guys...Facebook is strangling a lot of forums! It is easier to use, quicker to post and a lot of people are already registered users! The problem with Facebook is that the info that gets posted is useful at the time but it doesn't get archived very well and is almost impossible to search. Forums will always be a better source of information than Facebook groups! Just hang in there and the forms will be strong again!

It's just spam...when you see stuff like that, hit the REPORT button and I will nuke it from orbit! Nothing to do with the past hack, spammers are just out in full force right now!

The same will go for others that are regular trouble makers...be sure to smash the REPORT button when you see something that doesn't fly too well even for BMT!! That is the best way to get rid of the bad apples!

I'll have to look at the other themes and see if they need some updating...Flux should be working as expected (for the most part, LOL)

I was able to change the icon to a little Bulldog LIKE button...is that at least a little better?
