We stepped up to another security update but someone forgot the piece of code that says not to stretch small images! A quick patch and all is good. The server does it's back-up thing at night so maybe it was that that caused it to be down for a few. We run several redundant back-ups to help prevent against data loss. One back-up even downloads nightly to a different server! It's not uncommon for a site to be out for 1 min here and there. It's those 1 hour plus outages that we don't like!

Right click on the desktop and click the Screen Saver tab. You will see My Pictures Slide Show. You can select what files you want to show and then have then automatically flash on your screen as a screen saver! It's really cool...but you have to leave your PC on all the time.

You should be able to set your computer to display photos as a screen saver! Thats what I do. Just sayin'

Most of them work by uploading pics from your PC or by inserting a card or usb drive into the frame. I've tangled with a few for family members and they aren't too hard to figure out.

We got some good stuff....just have to pace ourselves! ps....I'll look at your pic problem tomorrow.

Welcome to the forums! Glad to have you on board. I'm sure you will get lots of feedback...some good, some bad and I'm sure there will be some ugly! But my advice is to take it all whole heartedly because the members inside these forums are Mack customers! Past, present and future!

I got a few different replies over the last few weeks, but I didn't even read them. Not sure who wrote that code, but it's not very smart, LOL I am looking into changing it somehow, but for now, just click on the link to reply or login to the forums and reply from your messenger. If you want the recipient to reply to you, you can always add your reply email address in the PM. Then they can click on it and send a new reply directly to you...

I've been seeing a trend of members trying to reply to PM's sent to them by other BMT Members...problem is that when you reply to the email notification that you get in your email inbox, it sends the reply to me! At the bottom of these notifications, you will see: You should either click on the link provided in the email or just log into BMT and reply from your PM Inbox. Then they will go to the right person!

Hmmm...sorry about that guys! I have tech support looking under he hood to see what's wrong.

Did anyone receive multiple emails from BMT during the last bulk mail (regarding the WMSI 12 Days of Christmas Special)? Or did anyone not even get the mail? Curious to hear some reports, I think the bulk mail system shorted out! LOL

I've increased global upload limits as follows: Puppy Poster - 10mb (0-49 posts) Porch Pup - 50mb (50-99 posts) Big Dog - 100mb (100-249 posts) Bulldog - 200mb (250-499 posts) Pedigreed Bulldog - 350mb (500 + posts) All levels have a 5mb single post limit... If you need any more room than that, then you need an online storage solution! LOL

You should be able to post pdf's in topics and in the Wiki. Size is the big issue...some pdf's can be 2 or more mb's. The problem with this is disc space...we don't have unlimited space to work with, eventually it will fill up. Regulating file sizes helps to prolong disc space. I will look into bumping file size up a bit but I know it wont be a major increase.

It will show all new posts and new replies to existing posts (but only 5 at a time!) After 5 new replies...the 6th one drops off the list. The cool thing is that it is always up to date! It auto refreshes itself every 30 seconds. You can still use the "View New Content" link to see everything that is new!

Hey guys, I just added a new module to the top of the forum index. It is titled "Recent Posts" It will auto refresh every 30 seconds and flash 3 times when there is a new topic or reply made anywhere in the forums! I thought it was pretty cool so maybe someone out there will enjoy it! Let me know if there are any problems...
