  1. Idk if they still make it but those fittings are reusable. That hose looks like aeroquip single wire braid (what we called it back in 90’s) on the screw on fittings, and the other we called push-lock by aeroquip. Just cut the hose off barbs. The others unscrew, the part that screws on hose is backwards thread if I remember correctly

  2. Both my CHU’s had them (09 & 12). 09 was broke when I got it (welded up), don’t have a clue what it’s for (can’t be much). Both trucks had maxi-torques in them (MACK TRANSMISSION!!)

They use tri-drive tractors like that in my area and west of here. They have to have the long wheelbase with our axle weight laws to get max AGVW.

I like the 6x6. Reminds me of a new age RM. Only the RM was a better truck, LOL

So your saying the 5th wheel is going to be where it’s at now? That much frame behind the last axle? Got to be a special trailer. Like to see 1.

  4. Question, if you were to hit a stump (or whatever) what would keep it from flopping back besides the top of bucket? Guess I’m asking do you need a stop of some sort? Since no driveshaft doesn’t matter other than snapping cable or clamp or chain?

From looks of gearbox and frame looks like like a bush hog brand? They are tough

  5. There really must be a bad spot in the road wherever they came from? It’s really sad to know that there’s steering wheel holders out there like them!

There navigation device must have told them to turn. Maybe it needs updated?

Right now, I am not sure exactly what the plan is. I am documenting it on Youtube for fun but it will for sure go back to work on the Farm at some Point. I ahve a 40 foot flatbed that is goin to go with it.

Here is the video and I know I am not doing a few things right but this is a new one for me so its all for Fun. We are sorta locked down over here.

What does your farm consist of, you raise crops? Going to haul crops?

You are bringing back memories today. That brochure has a Value-Liner you showed (incorrectly identified as RD), as well as a pre-facelift axle-forward RD with Value-Liner styling. Customers and dealers said it was too heavy, so we didn't sell many. We sold far more post-facelift Western Contractors.

I'm going to say the last model year for Macungie Value-Liner production was 1987.

From hearing you talk; I’d bet very good memories!
