I know people that’s never smoked or drank and they drove, don’t think they had flu shots then but anyways they got cancer and died and didn’t want either.

Nothing wrong
run it, see if it clears up
is low coolant light on?
-
Not saying you don’t have problem but water level will be down couple inches from rim, it will puke out until it gets right.
only way I know to check system is to take belts off water pump, remove thermostat & fill water to highest water level. Crank and see if you have bubbles. If so you can put something in between water manifold to make them separate & see what head and same with compressor.

Have you checked radiator cap? Does it have coolant recovery tank? If it doesn’t your water level will not be completely full to rim.

It looks very good

It’s a few I’d rather have, they would be American made. Be hard to pick which Chevrolet!

I’ll say 4070 farmall (international)

Want never forget first union job I went on, back in the 90’s, I was pulling wrenches & I was in process of r&r an engine, dude came by as I was fixing to unhook batteries & he stopped me & said had to get electrician to do that. Thought he was jerking me, I was kinda young back then but he was serious. Waited about an hour for there electrician to unhook them. Bullshit!

Try Mike Harbison on this site

Idk about a Mack but John Deere 50 series had a kit you could buy, they were just a twisted strap of metal that tied the fan bolts to the pulley studs to keep it locked together. Maybe you do some rigging (engineering) to lock & see if that fixes it.

Another great 1

From what I see, you have a fine truck with whatever horsepower rating. Hard to beat a 89 R model Mack!

Says these oils approved in 2010, I don’t know about the older 1’s? I ran 80-90 in my T318LR & it had 50 in it before, it made a lot quieter & it shifted no different but it doesn’t get very cold here but hot it does.

Doesn’t take a collective genius for this, if your talking CaseIH hytran fluid for any Mack manual transmission

If you white guys are so great.

It came out of north Jersey, I like the truck a lot too, and would hate to see them get rid of it, especially after what it will look like if we paint it and throw some new exhaust on it. Those 12.00r24.5 tires aren't that old. All 10 of the 11.00r24 tires on the truck right now are bald and in need of new or decent used tires. Tires and exhaust are the only thing keeping it from passing inspection right now
For your sake, hope they don’t sale it, but if they do please let BMT know first in case anyone here would be interested. Good luck!

Pish, I’m not trying to stop him, I need him to save his steam for the Pressure Cooker bomb that BMT will become in late fall.
I’m concerned your going to block yourself into boredom. You’ve got Maxidyne blocked also and it’s not really fair that she be allowed to strafe me with her “as a matter of fact” crap-cannon while you sit happily enjoying the entire umbrella.
(Pish) that’s 1 I can’t get definition for, but it’s always new words on here. I learn a lot on here.

Worked in diesel shop back in late 80’s through the late 90’s, always told that diesel smoke wasn’t what was bad for you it’s the gas burners. Maybe ought to sue them, HA HA. All the witnesses are probably dead. HA HA, Amazing how things change.

The 3.98 is a lower gear, I had that in a truck & it did good pulling dump trailer. I think the 3.79 would be fine in a tractor, idk about a straight dump.
truck had mp8 with 505hp.
