Congrats on the new truck from a fellow fxf driver. 

I have a complete set that I pulled off a donor cab.  Not sure if you can buy them new.

It is a pretty decent truck and has been there a while now. Glad to see it wSnt scrapped. Although I feel like I've seen it for sale in the syracuse area. 

I received one as well.  I figured it is because I am not bringing a truck this year.  No big deal.  

I bought a pair from an auto electrical site. ill check my invoices and pm  you. came with washers and nuts.

Any chance for a picture? 

I have metal plated on the cab. Are these metal or some sort of nylon or plastic.  Cant seem to find a picture of an r700 with the plates on the hood.

1958 B-42. Purchased a few months ago transferred title and towed home.  Have not done anything with it since it was brought home.  Previous owner scrapped the tandem and placed an air ride setup under the rear. The power steering front axle is included. One rear tire is punctured. Truck was originally a mixer. Everything that was remover off the frame is in the cab.  Truck was driven by previous owner before rear swap was done.  More pics to come. 1700.00 obo 

Cab is very solid with some rust around front window.

On my r model the radiator mounts on a crossmember. The hood hinges bolt to the side of the radiator uprights. I adjust the upper cab to radiator support rods to adjust the rear of the hood to cab.

I would love to own that 773

Sharp looking truck.

No finger nut solid shaft from large nut to yoke housing. 

I'm need to disassemble the speedo assembly on the transmission. I would think that a small wrench on the tube and a big wrench on the nut. Can't break em.  Big wrench on the nut spins the whole assembly and the speedo adapter his case. Any thoughts.

I didn't grind grooves in the chisel.  Chisel went rouge, busted my glasses.

I have a set of the fender mounted bulldogs on the pole.  is there a specific location were they are mounted or is it all preference?

I looked at this truck back in March.  It's pretty neat but needs a lot of tic.  Seller is a standup guy.

Does anyone know where I can source the decal that goes on an r model Mack air cleaner. Also looking for r model cab grommets.  Those semi plastic round and rectangular ones that go in the floor and firewall. Called watts but they weren't sure.

Easter Monday the wife and I got a chance to tour the museum.  It is spectacular.  I wish we had more time to really look and read everything thoroughly.
