Always liked seeing the left front wheel come off the ground a trait of most mack pull trucks.
-
That looks like the corner of gilbert and 25.

Nice and a fresh paint job always gave me a feeling of accomplishment when I look back at what it was before I painted it.

I think some of the new locomotive engines cat produces are up to 5000 horse power.

Funny thing the diesel has gone down quite a bit but having the few trucks and equipment I buy and have shipped to me the per mile price has not gone down yet.

The wife bought me a smart phone I made her take it back I don't need to turn into a robot like most that have them now looking down at the phone oblivious to the world as they walk down the sidewalk tripping over the curbs.

Who knows somewhere down the line I may drop a V8 into it I like to work on trucks when I get it to my liking I always go one step further guess Im just bored I always did that with my military trucks. As stated before it always depends on the amount of money I have at the time to limit my work on my trucks I spoke to a friend about maybe buying a used V8 this summer he says they are to expensive to buy as take outs I will have to buy a running truck and part it which is out of the question I will not ruin one truck to upgrade another unless I can find a wrecked parts truck somewhere.

This is what happens when a 3800 horsepower engine starts to run on its own crankcase oil and no way to shut it down it will run way over its governed 950 RPM until the weakest link lets go. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvMl8LUzQnk

I bobbed a M35 military truck a few years ago and put a turbocharged 3208 into it I took the cab off to do the fab work had to use a trans from an 800 series five ton to keep the original trans from grenading with the additional HP. The build went pretty well had to raise the body off the frame three inches for everything to fit but it was the only bobbed M35 like it anywhere.
