I still remember those old mertel concrete trucks didn't Algonquin redi mix have some Bs also maybe they were hendricksons I remember in the 60s they had some narrow hood trucks pouring concrete at the neighbors.

Damn I took two front axles to the scrap yard this summer got tired of them taking up space one 12000 and one 20000 pound is your frame rail a double or single?

I took the spiders off the mack axles I scrapped  last year from a 70s R model if you need them.

They haul van trailers from the factory next to hines lumber I talk to him from time to time on the CB he has been doing a good job keeping his truck clean since Carl had it repainted. Got laid off for the winter last Friday so I wont be seeing those guys until next spring.

One word of advise buy the better quality more expensive rolls of woodgrain remember You get what you pay for and you wouldn't want to pull all those gauges again to replace faded woodgrain next year.

My doors are not pulled in that tight to have a problem with that if the doors are in that far you get squeaks and rattles from the mirror bolts hitting the steel inside edge of the cab. I have new door seals and when I put them in they were cemented in just a bit farther out so there is no need to pull the door in to far.

I just finished the red material on the set for the superliner no diamond quilt yet its coming from Canada so it may be next week before I can finish them.

I finished one set of windshield pillar covers today.

I don't remember rizzi trucks having the numbers on the fenders weren't rizzi's trucks green and red  I would say it could have been an old V&R truck.

I'm sure the truck in the first picture was owned by a Spanish speaking individual.

We bought all the useable pipe and hauled it off to jobs kept the pipe boys busy hauling all that winter all the junk went through our concrete crusher and the pipe molds and equipment all went to concrete specialties.

I sand my wheels down with a 600 grit then finish them off with an 800 grit before using three different courses of buffing from the brown bar down to jewelers rouge shines up like a mirror sanding is the most important the smoother you get the surface the better shine you will get.

The only way to get the shine back on it is with a buffer acid washing will get them clean and turn them white.

The guy I bought this one from has a couple perfect brown ones too.

I drive one every day most times its a guy in to big a hurry and forgets to open the gate or the air hose pops off and without an air supply it wont open. I watch my trailer when I dump if the trailer hits the second stage on the ram and nothings coming out yet I check it before the load ends up against the gate.

I'm fine with the 120 dollars I paid for it which includes the shipping steering wheels are pretty expensive anyways but you rarely see a white one that's not cracked.

I never had any use for the union either you can see how they "work" here in Illinois going down any state highway and watching state union employees all hard at work sitting in the trucks on the side of the road all day. I see those same state employees parked in front of the local restaurant in the  morning after getting to work punching in and on the clock state trucks sitting in the parking lot instead of going to breakfast BEFORE work on the taxpayer dime. My experience is here in Illinois is the union motto less work for more money is still going strong they breed laziness now and trying to reason with a good union employee is like trying to reason with a faithful Hillary voter oh wait silly me they are one in the same. I have always said there is something wrong when a company has to be literally forced into union bondage I work for a company family owned very generous with raises, holiday pay,christmas parties and gifts seems like the way things should be you work hard for them you are rewarded. Also I have a real problem with companies being forced to keep lazy ass employees by the union which are a drain on the company and breed bad blood between good employees having to take up the slack for their lazy ass and through the years I have seen a lot of that.  

TIG is to expensive I'm going to get a spool gun for the MIG and do it that way.

There is five or six of them for auction on iron planet too.

Lindahl has been running from their job on 90 to bluff city everyday no more macks all petes now that's a pretty high plate number on that old mack. The trucks I have been seeing all have plates numbered from 1-48 running around here by the way the trailer plates match the number of the plate on the tractor too.
