  1. Got my second one today, no issues so far. I am required to get one as an EMT.

Wife got her second one last week. The next day she felt like death warmed over for 24 hours. Woke up the following day, said she felt like she had a hangover, she took a long hot shower and was fine after that.  She is mandated by her employer (she is an NICU Nurse) to get it.

The engine model would help but if you ask Ron Smith, I betcha the lint in my pocket he will rattle it off from his memory.

  3. That thing has been on and off fleabay and various facebook groups for several years. Apparently the owner just doesn't get the fact that he is asking way too much money for it. It's a shame, I would have tried for it as there were only four firetrucks built with that cab- which was originally designed for Ma Bell as a phone pole auger chassis for long distance, off-road installations. It's a three-door.

Yes power is more than likely a 6KS Waukesha.

Hello everybody. I recently received a message on "My Chart" It is from my Medical system that I am in. It said "Congrats. you are elligable for the Covid vacine.. It was based on the roll out of different levels off distribution.  The thing is... I was diagnosed on 2/25... I'm not far enough along to get the vaccine. I was told 90 days after 14 days with the virus.. I just watched a report, by a Doctor say that the 6 people that died from the vaccine may have had a natural resistance, anyway.. My point is... If you had the virus, please ask your doctor if you need the vaccine... The e-mail I got was generic, which sucks, because if I didn'tn have the info I have, I may have rushed to get the vaccine. Whoever sent the e-mail, did not review my medical records first..  Just be cautious and smart..  Jojo

My onset of the bat lung aids was Friday December 11. Thats when they started the clock for my 90-day period. I just got my first shot on April 3, I get the second on April 24. My Doctor highly recommended that I get it. The wife just got her second shot this past saturday (She is a NICU nurse and has no choice) and she got sick pretty much all of Saturday. She woke up Sunday feeling like she had a hangover- took a good hot shower and she felt better.

Who else, who has had a painful case of Covid that lasted over 2 weeks, has had issues with, Daily fatigue, dizzyness, and lack of patience, or even a short temper?

SWMBO had issues with her mood* and short-term memory for about 2-3 weeks after recovering from the initial symptoms. She also had shortness of breath after mild activity (carry a load of laundry up the stairs she would get winded and have to sit down) for about 4-6 week.

*even more so that normal but shhhhhhh dont tell her I said that

  6. Unfortunately I have to answer all incoming calls as I use my phone for work (boss pays the bill, can't complain......) If I get an out of area number I do let it go to voicemail but.....they "spoof" local numbers and these I have to answer. So if it is a scammer I screw with them as much as I can. I have an Indian friend who once told me that if you accuse them of having relations with their mother, it is one of the biggest personal insults you can throw at them, and they never say the word "mothe.......er" so if you can get a MF out of them, you know you pissed them off.

Some of my friends and I have an honor-system game where we see how long we can keep them on the phone. My longest so far is 16 minutes for one of the car warranty guys. I kept asking him more and more complicated coverage questions, like "is the blinker fluid tank protected from cracking or breaking" or "Are the muffler bearings covered?"

  7. From what I can tell, Ed isn't doing too well. Word from a friend of his has it that he is on a new med that has dulled the pain, and that he is at peace.

Maybe take a few minutes and say a prayer for him and his family.
